Health Insurance for High-Income Earners in Colorado

Earn too much for a subsidy in Colorado? Full-price marketplace plans are the most expensive coverage in the state. There's an alternative.

  • Private PPOs often 30–50% below full marketplace price
  • Broader networks than marketplace HMOs
  • Underwritten — best for healthy households

Takes about 60 seconds. Both markets, one call.

Two markets, one of them probably better for you

If your after-expense income qualifies for a Connect for Health Colorado subsidy, that is the most affordable coverage available and we will tell you so. If you are above the subsidy line and healthy — the usual profile for high-income earners — a private PPO on the Cigna, Aetna and PHCS PPO network is priced on your health, not your income, and is typically 30–50% less than full marketplace price.

What to expect

A 15-minute call. We run both markets for your ZIP, check your doctors against the PPO network, and show you the numbers side by side. If private is a fit, enrollment takes about 15 minutes online and approval usually comes within 48 hours. If it is not, we help you pick the right marketplace plan.

Taxes

Colorado has a flat state income tax, so the self-employed premium deduction helps at both levels.
